It's 1999, and everyone is talking about the Y2K bug. Ricky Martin is on the radio. Here in the USA, the year's top film is Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. New terms coined include: active shooter, adorkable, bling, blogosphere, carbon footprint, clickbait, e-waste, incel, pwn, and texting.

For 1999, I read three Professionals fics, one Professionals x Watership Down crossover, and one Man from U.N.C.L.E. fic.
