I've collected a large selection of fics to read as part of my Lifetime Fic Bingo game. While I was researching and collecting, I kept a list of the fics, with short notes to remind myself what they were. Tonight I've been reading back over those and finding some of them amusing. Earlier today, I heard someone mention Garry Marshall. That name was new to me, so I looked him up. He turns out to have been an all-rounder in both TV and movies (writer, actor, director, producer), and one of the things he had a hand in, according to Wikipedia, was "Mork and Mindy (1978–1982)." Of course, my first thought on seeing that was, "'Mork and Mindy (1978–1982)'...The Professionals (1977-1983)...crossover?" This is your brain on fandom, kids.

I'm making progress on a new Pros vid after roughly six months of alternating false starts and apathy. I have a point of view and a brainstorming grid, and I've begun filling in clips. Now the only question is: Will people still love me if I use a country song?
