I'd never realised that, I shall have to re-read them with renewed eyes :0)
Over on the MFU side, I said I didn't think I had a particular style (apart, obviously, from its being me writing), and someone pointed out that I habitually start with a cold opening, straight into the action — and when I went over what I had written thus far, I could see it — but not until it was pointed out.
